Yoga Practice

Posted on 10:13 PM by Mr FX_is

Yoga is such a versatile form of exercise for the mind, body and spirit that it’s easy for anyone to get started. People of any age and fitness level can find benefit in a regular yoga practice.
The best way to start a yoga practice is to take a beginner’s class at a yoga studio. In fact, take classes from different places to get an idea of which style is best for you.
Familiarize yourself with the various forms of yoga. The most common ones are hatha, asthanga, anusara, Bikram, Iyengar and vinyasa. Find the styles that fit best with your philosophy and physical condition.
Purchase a yoga mat. These are sold online and at massage studios, yoga studios and some health food stores. The yoga mat is a portable rubbery performance area approximately five to six feet long.
if you are committed to a serious yoga practice, consider purchasing additional yoga props that will help you with your practice. These include yoga blocks, a strap, a bolster, blanket and perhaps an eye pillow.
If you’d like to develop a strong home-based practice, consider buying DVDs from a teacher whose teaching style you enjoy. Your local yoga studio instructor may have her own, or you can research many online and read reviews about them.
Once you’ve found a yoga studio you like, purchase a pre-paid class card. These are offered at a discount for paying up front for a bulk of classes (usually 10). They will not only save you money, but they will encourage you to go to class because they may have an expiration date.
Clear a space in your home that will be used as your space for yoga practice. If you’ll be following along with a DVD or CD, make sure you have the equipment in that room. Keep the space uncluttered, simple and distraction free.

classic gentleman

Posted on 3:57 AM by Mr FX_is

Being important is quite a challenge and dressing to fit the professional look can be a trying period. All you need do, is relax, massage your own head scalp for a few minutes so that ideas can flow through. You should find the clever looks from the mind, to slowly see yourself in to make the best classic look ever, for yourself.

Striped suits present the comfortable appearance. This classic style give a man of 'no risk' in mind attitude. It also suits the 'sometimes open minded' gentleman.

The polka dot detail tie adds to the classic tradition and combing your hair backwards or leaving it well shaven airs the formality you want to achieve.

The classic gentleman needs the fitting double cuff shirt with gold cufflinks in place.

Make a hanky of the breast pockets. Make sure it is visible, you don't want anything looking out of place. Always have another hanky inside of your breast pocket of suit jacket as a spare.

Recognize metrosexual

Posted on 3:52 AM by Mr FX_is

Although the term "metrosexual" may be a tricky word to define, a metrosexual man can be spotted walking down the street from 20 city blocks away. The term identifies a new kind of city-dwelling male who, without giving up his claim to masculinity, enjoys doing the kind of "aesthetic" that formerly would have gotten him labeled a sissy. Fortunately for the metrosexual, the breed is multiplying, making the ability to recognize the new stylish man-type that much more important.

Check out his general appearance. If, in a quick glance, you see a man who looks as if he actually put time into his whole appearance and didn't just roll out of bed and throw on whatever dirty clothes were lying around, then you can be pretty sure you're looking at a metrosexual.

Start at the top. Following in the footsteps of the one of the world's most famous metrosexuals, soccer star David Beckham, metrosexuals are bound to put effort—actual effort—into their hairstyles. Look out for a gelled-up male hairdo that looks better than it should. Also keep an eye out for frequently changing hairstyles to recognize a metrosexual.

Spot a taste for quality. The metrosexual likes to spend money, and not on kegs, power drills and NASCAR tickets. The average metrosexual has a well-paying job at some ad agency, business consultancy or other glossy concern and likes to show it. To recognize a metrosexual's financial trail, look for the man who spends money on Armani ties and fine alcohol at the bar.

Look for the ladies. All the other guys might hate to admit it, but the metrosexual is good with the opposite sex. You can recognize a metrosexual as the guy who's doing better with women by lavishing attention on them and engaging in conversations that would leave many non-metrosexual men at a loss for words.

Read over his shoulder. If that's a men's fashion magazine, you can be pretty sure that the suspect is a metrosexual. Recognize metrosexuals by paying attention to what they read: fashion magazines, cinema reviews and culture rags.

Are You Metrosexual?

Posted on 3:48 AM by Mr FX_is

Attention men! Are you a guy who carries a man bag? Do you love primping more than your wife does? Does your closet contain more than six pairs of shoes? If so, you may be a metrosexual. Although the metrosexual phenomenon is said to be on a downswing, celebrity icons such as Brad Pitt and Adrian Brody continue to grab the headlines, showing our fascination with these well-manicured gents. Follow the steps below to see if you deserve the title metrosexual

Investigate your bedroom. Does your closet take up more space than your significant other's? Is your top dresser drawer neatly arranged with designer boxers? Do you own silk pajamas, satin sheets or the latest issue of "Esquire"?

Look over your clothing. Do you frequently wear designer clothes when lounging around the house? Does your favorite outfit consist of a dress shirt with cuff links and a stylish pair of pants?

Search your bathroom. Are there bottles of cleansers, moisturizers and mask creams? Do you love apricot-scented body scrub? Mint shampoo with wheat germ? Take down or cover the mirror. Do you experience withdrawals?

Browse your checkbook. Do you spend more on pampering yourself than you do on your girlfriend? Do you see frequent hair salon, waxing and spa treatment entries?

Check out your calendar. Is it riddled with appointments regarding tanning salons, Botox injections, massages and manicures?

Ask yourself a few questions. Are grooming and working out essential parts of your daily regimen? Are most of your friends women? Do you love to shop? Are you readily able to name six menswear designers?

Dress For a First Date

Posted on 3:43 AM by Mr FX_is

If clothes make the man, create the man you want to be.

Decide with your partner what tone you want to set for the event, and whether it is a formal, casual or specific event such as a swim party.

Make an honest impression and a statement about your style and attitude at a casual dinner or first date.

Pick from the classic basics unless you have a specific side of yourself to express. For most guys, that means khakis, jeans or casual dress slacks.

Choose Oxford button-down shirts in blue, white or patterns. They pair up well with most pants and are attractive without being fussy. They layer well over a T-shirt and under a sweater, too.

Show off those pecs in a knit shirt or T-shirt for comfort and versatility. Wear a dress shirt and tie, with or without a sport coat, to convey your attention to detail and your civility while still being casual.

Decide on your footwear. Athletic shoes are accepted in most places but generally oxfords, boots or loafers look better for a date. Sandals can be clean-cut, counterculture or sporty.

Wear neutral colors if you want your conversation to do the talking.Remember that personal grooming says more about you than your clothes.

Look like a Model

Models are extremely popular in Western culture. Models are on the cutting edge of fashion and are thought to be some of the most beautiful people alive. Everyone would love to look like a model, but how? These steps reveal some of the best tricks that models use to stay gorgeous, and you can use them too.

Do what is necessary to become healthy. If you are overweight, you will need to lose those extra pounds. Begin a more rigorous exercise routine if you haven’t already. This is the most important step if you want to look like a model. Make sure you are following a healthy weight loss program

Become conscious of style. Be aware of fashion trends and the latest accessories. Thumb through some of the hot fashion magazines to get an idea of what's the rage this season, including colors and fabrics. Then incorporate what you can into your own look. If you wear the latest fashions, the eyes of the crowd are sure to be drawn to you.

Remember that fashion changes from season to season, so it's important to stay ahead of fashion. What is fashionable today may be outdated tomorrow.

Find a good hairstylist. They are always hip to new trends in both hair-care and fashion. Go regularly to keep your hair trimmed and colored in the latest styles. The beauty salons often have hair style magazines that you and yyour stylist can look through and determine which cuts and colors will flatter you best.

Purchase makeup and learn how to apply it well. Wearing makeup correctly will add to your overall look and bring an elegant look to your everyday self. Smile as much as possible. People respond positively to a smile and a good attitude will make people want to look at you.

Get out there and be seen. You can’t model form the inside of a closet. You have to show yourself off to the people around you. Go to clubs and special events so you will be noticed.

Look like David Beckham

Posted on 3:21 AM by Mr FX_is

(David Beckham (left), you (right).

David Beckham, David Beckham, David Beckham. That's all anyone can talk about these days--especially the ladies. And guys are taking note that girls love this stylish Soccer phenom. So what's a horny guy to do if he wants to get laid? That's a no-brainer: Look exactly like David Beckham (or at least as close as you possibly can). Not sure how to get started? Don't worry about it, I'm going to tell you exactly how to get David's incredibly sexy metrosexual look.

First, let's start with the hair. When it comes to hair, Beckham is erratic: I've seen him in Bo Derek cornrows, a mohawk, a faux-hawk and a shag. For the longest time, he's been going short and bleached and lucky for you, that's affordable. All you have to do is get a pair of clippers and buzz everything off, save for a little bit of growth on the forehead area (just enough to make it stick up a bit). Then bleach everything. And there you have it, the Beckham hair cut.

Let's get it out there: the man purse. You're going to have to carry one around. Sure, it's unheard of, but look at Becks--he totes his all over West Hollywood and he's probably knee deep in vagina as you read this. The good news is, his man purses are on the slightly masculine side: canvas, Army green, distressed leather, khaki. Think of it this way, now you have a place to hide all the condoms and bottles of lube you're going to be needing once your David Beckham look takes off.

Clothing: casual. If you're going for a casual look, you're going to want to go with heavily distressed, baggy jeans--the more expensive, the better. As far as shirts go, look for feminine tank tops--the kids call 'em wife beaters--or skin tight T-shirts. You could go with a Polo shirt, but now that he lives in Los Angeles, Becks is rarely seen in anything but tank tops.

Marry a Spice Girl.

Clothing: formal. When David takes Victoria out to dinner at Il Sole or Koi, he likes to dress up like a 1920s dandy. Tight-fitting pinstripe suits, pointy leather shoes and crisp white collared shirts with a Windsor-knotted tie (unless he's slumming it, then the shirt is unbuttoned to his sternum). You might not have $10,000 for a sweet Hugo Boss suit like Becks, but you can buy something off the rack for a couple hundred, and get it tailored by a dry cleaner for $50. Just think of it: With all that money, you'll save thousands for the accessories ...

On to the accessories. David loves his diamonds. Diamond rings, diamond necklaces, diamond earrings--I bet this metrosexual even has diamond anklets. As for you, you can probably get away with just the earring. David likes to wear his diamond studs in both ears at a minimum of 5 carats each, so the bad news is you're going to have to buy one pair to pull this look off. The good news is that you can buy cubic zirconia. No one's going to know the difference and if you buy the real deal, you're going to feel like an idiot when the David Beckham craze is over and you're stuck paying off your credit card with a $10,000 balance.

And no matter what, be comfortable with your sexuality.....

Dress For a Cocktail Party-Men

Posted on 3:10 AM by Mr FX_is

Cocktail parties give you a chance to mingle among friends, acquaintances, and current and potential business associates. Look sharp and dress appropriately for the occasion. If you're unsure how formal the event is you can always ask a friend who is also going and see what he plans to wear and use that as a starting point.

Consider the type of invitation. If it came by phone or e-mail, chances are the party is casual. If you received a formal invitation, and especially if the event benefits a charity or association, consider it a dressier affair.

Think about the season. Wear lighter-weight fabrics and brighter colors for spring and summer get-togethers. Stick to dark, muted tones in heavier fabrics for fall and winter gatherings.

Dress up casual business attire for a more formal after-work cocktail party. Add a blazer to khaki pants and a button-down shirt, or pair a sport coat with black jeans and a black mock turtleneck. Switch sandals or athletic shoes for dark leather loafers or lace-up shoes.

Treat cocktail parties on weekend afternoons less formally than those scheduled in the evening. Go dressy business casual for a more formal late-afternoon gathering; opt for a suit in the evening. For a less formal event, wear a nice casual outfit in the afternoon and dressier business casual clothes in the evening.

Men's Dress Shoes

Posted on 2:58 AM by Mr FX_is

Buying men's dress shoes can be a confusing and tedious job for some men or their partners. There are many choices and little direction when you hate shopping or are shopping for someone difficult. However, if you remember a few tips when shopping for dress shoes, it will make the process go a little smoother than usual. Learn to buy men's dress shoes without all the guesswork.
Decide if you have to attend an occasion or you simply need shoes generally. Look at the suits and dress clothes in your closet for a good idea about what color to buy.

Then make a list of possible stores to purchase your men's dress shoes. Have an idea of how much money you are willing to spend for your purchase.

Go to your favorite department store first. Shop for at least three styles of shoes that catch your eye. Try for black shoes first.

Try on shoes a size below and a size above your normal shoe size, since dress shoes typically run bigger or smaller. Utilize a shoe horn or the assistance of a salesperson if you are having trouble getting the shoes on and off.

Take a pair of dress slacks with you or wear dress slacks when trying on your shoes. Buy the shoes that seem to match well with most of your dress clothes. In general, a loafer is always a good choice as well as a traditional lace black tuxedo shoe.

The Right Tie For a Suit

Posted on 2:45 AM by Mr FX_is

You won't have to spend tons of time tracking down a high-quality tie that's the perfect finishing touch for your suit or jacket. It's easier than you think.

Buying a Quality Tie:

Select an appropriate tie length and width. Although it depends on body size and fashion trends, a length of 54 inches and a width of 3 1/4 inches is average.

Touch the tie. A quality tie will feel smooth to the touch and will consist of three, not two, pieces sewn together

Inspect the tie's lining, which provides its shape and bulk. The tie should be lined to the tips, preferably with material that has a high percentage of wool.

Tug on the slip stitch, a loose thread found in the back of the tie, beneath the two joined flaps. When pulled, the slip stitch of a well-made tie will cause the tie to gather in folds.

Sling the tie over your hands. The narrower end of the tie should lie squarely behind the middle of the wider end; ties that hang in this manner will lie flat on your chest. Avoid ties that twist when draped over your hand.

Selecting a Tie Color and Pattern:

Select the tie pattern by choosing shirt and tie patterns to complement, not compete with, each other. A subtly striped shirt can back a boldly striped tie, while a more eye-catching shirt demands a quieter tie.

Choose the tie color. Pale blue dress shirts work well with almost any tie - try one with some yellow or gold. Manipulate the monochrome look, teaming a light purple shirt with a darker purple tie.

Great Boyfriend

Posted on 2:24 AM by Mr FX_is

Have you ever heard your girlfriend complain that you just don't understand her? Have you ever wished you could peek into her mind for just one minute? Then this article is for you. Being a great boyfriend is a lot easier than you think.

Never ever EVER look at other women while in the presence of your girlfriend. It's not really nice and it's just rude! Put yourself in her shoes... would you like your girlfriend staring at other guys?

Be a good listener. Girls like to talk, which means you will be great when you are a good listener. Offer relevant input to what she is saying, remember what makes her happy, what makes her sad, what her dream vacation is, and mention it to her later in conversation. It will make her swoon knowing that what she tells you is important.

Surprise her. It could be a simple flower or a weekend away. It's not the size of the gesture, but it's the gesture itself. For example, when she is sick, offer to take care of her. Make her some soup and stay by her side. Or when she gets promoted at work, take her out for drinks. Girls appreciate knowing that you thought of them enough to go out of your way to put a smile on their lips.

Think about how you wish she would go to that baseball game with you. She wants the same. Take her out somewhere she likes too! This may even motivate her to go to a sports event with you. And maybe you'll discover that a night out clubbing isn't as bad as you thought.

Ask them about their days and tell them about yours. It's a small gesture that shows you care.

This is valid for anyone in any relationship: BE HONEST. Always. This will make your relationship a mature one, in which you can connect and share things.

Curb your jealousy. It is terrible being in a relationship with someone who does not trust us. If we wanted to be with someone else, do you think we would be with you?
